Tuition

A graduated tuition scale beginning at $3,200.00 (for school year 2010-2011) for the first child in a parish family.  Each additional child receives a discount in the tuition.  Non-registered member tuition begins at $4,350.00 (for school year 2010-2011) with a discount for each additional child.  Half day Kindergarten rates are $2,150.00 and 2,800, respectively.

The average cost of educating a child at St. Rita School is $3,600. The cost is significantly lower than a student in the public schools. The difference is due mainly because of the salary level of a Catholic school teacher to a public school teacher. Dedicated teachers work in Catholic schools because it is a ministry to the Church. Our teachers are highly qualified and work with the students to achieve excellence everyday.

Tuition is paid on a ten month schedule. The first payment is due on August 15th during the summer preceding the new school year. Subsequent payments are due on or before the 15th of each month.

There are two rates of tuition:

  • active, participating parish member
  • non-parish member

Parish members are charged a lower rate of tuition because a portion of their Stewardship Sunday offering is contributed to the school budget.

For the complete tuition rates for the current school year please call the school office at (630) 892-0200.
